test
The Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray was introduced in 1963. The first of the second generation sported an entirely new design, it was sleek, with an elongated hood and chiseled edge. The Sting Ray looked every bit like a shark on wheels. Created by Mill Mitchell, the renowned General Motors designer, unequivocally modern in style, the featured yet another innovation that its designer cherished immensely: the split rear window-a design trait that blended seamlessly with the car's body. This little gem of an automobile, went on to rival the great European sports cars. The car combined aesthetics and performance. It had four wheel independent suspension as well as a V8 engine that generated up to 360 horsepower and a top speed of 217 km/h (135 mph). The Sting Ray is without a doubt one of the most coveted Corvettes of all time.
